Reverend Jonathan Weaver is an inspirational spiritual leader and humanitarian, recognized for his unwavering commitment to transforming lives in the U.S. and overseas. He founded the Pan African Collective, an organization that promotes educational, social and economic relationships between Americans and the people of Africa.
Rev. Weaver has led more than a dozen medical mission trips to Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Malawi, and Haiti, resulting in more than 30,000 people receiving much-needed medical care and nutritional support. His continued advocacy and support for the DRC has led to the development of a school in Goma, named in his honor, that serves some 1,300 students, all of whom are orphans, children of rape survivors, or children of refugees. The Weaver School is a World Youth Clubs Affiliate.
In September 2024 Rev. Weaver helped create and host WYC’s first-ever African Leadership Summit, a groundbreaking event in Kigali, Rwanda that brought together emerging youth development leaders from ten countries across Africa.
