WorldYouth Clubs – Commitment to Donors

World Youth Clubs ("WYC") is a global organization that serves local independent member organizations ("Affiliates").Together World Youth Clubs and Affiliates form one of the world's largest networks of local youth organizations. Youth Clubs are dedicated to promoting the health, social, educational, vocational and character development of youth throughout the world.

Each Affiliate organization is a separate legal entity; is governed by an independent board of directors, executive committee, or other governing body; and is solely responsible for its own affairs, including, but not limited to, matters of safety, compliance with local laws, physical facilities, uses of technology, finances, policies and programs, and personnel policies and decisions. Each Affiliate has sole authority to hire, terminate, prescribe the duties of and establish the terms of employment of its employees and officers.

As the global organization, World Youth Clubs has no authority with respect to the policies or decisions of Affiliates. Accordingly, each Affiliate controls its own affairs, and World Youth Clubs does not control and cannot be held responsible for the actions of Affiliates.

World Youth Clubs Donor Policy

WYC believes in safeguarding personal information and ensuring that privacy is respected and protected for donors, Affiliates, all youth, volunteers, and vendors. We are committed to a donor-centric approach, providing personalized communication and engagement strategies based on donor preferences and interests. We will use personal information to keep donors, friends, vendors, and volunteers informed of our activities, including our programs, special events, funding needs, and the impact of their donations.

Data Protection and Privacy

‍WYC complies with global data protection regulations, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the SHIELD Act. We respect all requests to remain anonymous and provide comprehensive "opt-out"procedures for all types of communications.

We only collect information when users submit it voluntarily or through WYC's website. The data collected may include:

Online Giving Experience: We continuously optimize our online donation process to ensure a seamless, secure, and user-friendly experience for our donors. Our platform complies with the Payment Card IndustryData Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Use of AI and Data Analytics: WYC leverages artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics to enhance donor management, personalize communications, and improve our services. These tools are used in compliance with all applicable privacy laws and ethical guidelines.
