Ongoing exchanges provide a platform to collaborate on best practices, refine leadership skills, and jointly address the challenges facing youth in diverse regions.

Global Links Program Connects Youth Across Continents
“The most significant difference in becoming a WYC Affiliate has been our access to mentors, resources, guides, and, most importantly, communication with other clubs,” shared a BGC Hungary representative. For a team juggling the demands of human resources, finances, supplies, and more, this network has provided a level of support that transcends borders. By connecting with other clubs facing similar challenges, BGC Hungary has found a community where they can share insights, troubleshoot common issues, and discover new solutions.
The club’s partnership with a sister organization in Florida, made possible by WYC’s Global Links program, exemplifies the value of these connections. Through this program, BGC Hungary’s teenagers now have opportunities to build relationships with their peers in the United States.
Looking ahead, BGC Hungary is eager to deepen these connections, exploring more exchanges with other WYC clubs and U.S.- based organizations. Global Links Criteria
Global Links Affiliate organizations demonstrate a strong commitment to collaboration, actively working with other World Youth Clubs Affiliates. They share insights and exchange innovative practices to make a lasting impact on youth development worldwide.
Each Global Links Affiliate designates a specific team member to act as the primary liaison, ensuring smooth and effective communication. This role is crucial for building strong, supportive partnerships within the network.
Affiliates within the Global Links program engage in regular meetings, whether monthly or quarterly, to share and refine best practices. This commitment to ongoing dialogue fosters continuous improvement and meaningful contributions across the network.
Global Links Affiliates bring experience and a passion for engaging with diverse cultures, contributing to the enrichment and broadening of youth development efforts through a global perspective.
