Supporting Survivors and Raising Awareness

This April, in support of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, we’re proud to spotlight our partner, Saprea, a nonprofit organization committed to supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Saprea offers invaluable resources that help individuals heal from their trauma while also providing prevention tools in multiple languages for parents, caregivers, and the community to help end child abuse.

One of the most powerful voices within Saprea’s community is Cara, an adult survivor of childhood sexual abuse. In her video, Cara shares her personal journey from victim to survivor and her dedication to advocating for the safety of children in her community. Cara’s story is a powerful reminder of how crucial prevention education is and the importance of creating safe spaces for children to thrive.

At Saprea, the mission is clear: to provide survivors with the resources they need to heal, while educating communities about preventing abuse.
